Supporting women with cancer
Look Good Feel Better charity is a non-medical, brand neutral, free service that supports women with the visible side effects of cancer treatment by providing practical advice in workshops, facilitated by experienced beauty advisors in hospitals across Ireland.
‘We are dedicated to improving the well being and self-confidence of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Many beneficiaries tell us that the workshop helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment had taken over their lives’.
Our vision is that the Look Good Feel Better programme be an integral part of cancer care in Ireland.
Our workshops are held in the afternoons – a full list of the hospitals we hold our workshops in can be found on our homepage – www.lookgoodfeelbetter.ie
To book on one of our patient workshops, you can contact your Oncology Nurse or the Nurse at the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil centre int eh hospital that you are attending.
